Volunteer

As a community theatre, without participation from our community, it is impossible to maintain our status as Valparaiso's premier performing arts venue. A critical part of this participation is those of you who volunteer. 

With opportunities backstage, in the Box Office, and even on stage, consider giving your time and talents to supporting Memorial Opera House's mission.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Set Building
  • Stage Hands
  • Lighting & Sound
  • Costumes
  • Ushering
  • Auditioning/Performing

All volunteers are required to be ages 10 and up (with limited exceptions). All volunteers under the age of 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the volunteer agreement and a waiver of liability. In order to volunteer, one must successfully execute a waiver of liability as well as submit to & satisfactorily pass a criminal background check.
