Children auditions are set for Meet Me in St. Louis at the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso
Auditions are set for children ages 5 years to 16 years for Meet Me in St. Louis at the Memorial Opera House in Valparaiso on Saturday, October 11th at 1pm.
Saturday, October 11th is a special audition date just for children 5 years to 16 years. Children must bring a prepared song with sheet music. An accompanist is provided. No accapella or taped music is allowed. There will be a dance audition so bring comfortable clothes to dance in. Children may be asked to read from the show.
General casting information is as follows: 25-30 men, women and children ages 5 years and up. Please bring a prepared song with sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No a capella or taped music is allowed. There will be a dance audition so bring comfortable clothes to dance in.
Adult auditions will be held at the Memorial Opera House, 104 Indiana Ave., Valparaiso, at the following dates and times: Monday, October 13th and Tuesday, October 15th at 7pm.
Taking place in 1904, Meet Me in St. Louis is an optimistic musical about the Smith family in St. Louis at the cusp of the World's Fair. Memorable musical numbers include: Meet Me in St. Louis, The Trolley Song, The Boy Next Door, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and more!
Meet Me in St. Louis runs Friday and Saturdays, December 5, 6, 12, 13,19, 20 @ 8pm and
Sundays, December 7, 13, & 21 @ 2pm Meet Me in St. Louis will be directed by Kathleen Dominiak of Whiting & Justin Treasure of Munster.
